How People of Faith Are Helping Take Care of the Environment

Hear from Rev. Scott Hardin-Nieri, Director of Creation Care Alliance, about how the Creation Care Alliance supports the efforts of both faith communities, and individuals, called to preserve God’s Creation. Working out of the MountainTrue office in Asheville, this inter-faith group helps congregations throughout Western North Carolina care for our world through education, prayer and action. Hendersonville Green Drinks is presented by Conserving Carolina, MountainTrue and Black Bear Coffee Co. Come to Green Drinks to learn more about current environmental issues, have relevant discussions, and meet with like-minded people. This is a monthly event and everyone is welcome. You don’t have to drink at Green Drinks, just come and listen. Black Bear Coffee offers beer, wine, coffee drinks, and sodas. A limited food menu will be available.
