Functional Fungus

This Conserving Carolina Speaker Series at Landrum Library on Thursday, March 15th will feature Joel Myers, a mycologist at Mushroom Mountain, presenting on “Functional Fungus” at the Landrum Library at 6:30 p.m.

This is a free program, open to the public.

The program will discuss the vital role that mushrooms play in our ecosystems and what makes these fungi such an important factor. We will also talk about how some mushrooms can “clean up” certain contaminants and some of the ways we might be able to utilize this ability.
