For the Love of Bats

Join the Conserving Carolina Speaker Series at Landrum Library on Thursday, August 9th when North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission Education Specialist, Tanya Poole, presents, “For the Love of Bats!” at the Landrum Library at 6:00 p.m.
Join us to learn about the only flying mammal – bats! Tanya will discuss some of the bat species found in our region of the Carolinas, where they live, and why they are beneficial to have around. She will also share the most recent research on White Nose Syndrome and the NCWRC’s bat conservation efforts.
This is a free program, open to the public.
