Discovery Walk: The Secret Life of Berkeley Park

April 22, 2019 @ 10:00 am - 2:30 pm

Join us to celebrate Earth Day at Berkeley Park along the Oklawaha Greenway! You will have the opportunity to learn at four different educational stations (birds, wetlands, non-native invasive plants, and upland forest native plant ID), make your own seed bombs, take home your own wildflower seeds, and have the chance to win a milkweed plant! Binoculars are encouraged!

After the Discovery Walk, there is an optional cleanup of the Park and Conserving Carolina’s Adopt-a-Greenway section of the Oklawaha Greenway. If interested in attending the Discovery Walk and the cleanup please pack a lunch and plenty of water. Gloves and tools will be provided.

Both events are free and family friendly!  RSVP required.

12:00pm-12:30pm: Lunch

12:30pm-2:30pm: Adopt-a-Greenway Cleanup
