Climate Change Reading and Panel Discussion

Join Climate Change Theatre Action for a staged reading of climate change plays from around the world followed by a panel discussion.

Evan Parker will represent Conserving Carolina on the panel, discussing how our work reduces climate change impacts and helps communities adapt to a changing climate.

When: Sunday, November 17, 2019 – 7:00 PM

Where: Tryon Little Theater Workshop

Cost: None. Donations are appreciated, will be accepted at the door, and and will go to organizations preserving our ecosystems.

Founded in 2015, Climate Change Theatre Action (CCTA) is a worldwide series of readings and performances of short climate change plays from around the world presented biennially to coincide with the United Nations Conference of the Parties. This year coincides with the United Nations Santiago Climate Conference. The goal is to use art to bring communities together and encourage them to take local and global action on climate. We hope to make a difference in our community. The plays address various aspects of climate change from heat waves to rising sea levels to pollution to habitat loss.
