In October, Downtown Hendersonville holds the Bearfootin’ Auction. The Bears that have adorned the streets since April are auctioned off to the highest bidders. Every year, this auction benefits local charities. This year, Conserving Carolina has a bear! Painted by local artist Debbie Fleming and sponsored by Mast General Store of Hendersonville, Polly and Nate’s auction benefits Conserving Carolina.

Bidding is open to the public and the event includes live music. If you are unable to attend the live auction but would like to bid on our bear, contact [email protected] to be assigned a proxy bidder.

Bidder registration, music and fun start at 3:00pm on the steps of the Hendersonville Historic Courthouse on Main Street. Bidding starts at 5:00 pm. Spectators are welcome!
