But the fight is not over\, and we need your help! \nJoin us Monday from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at the Norman Wilder Forest parking area/trailhead off of Hwy 176\, between Tryon and Saluda. DESCRIPTION:*RSVP IS REQUIRED*\nJoin us for a community road side litter sweep and hike on one of our favorite trails!\n\nWe will clean up litter along our Adopt-a-Highway section on South Mills Gap Road from 9AM – 11AM. Tools\, safety vests\, and gloves will be provided.\nAfterwards\, please join us for a hike up Bearwallow Mountain (optional; 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM). This is a rewarding ~2 mile (round trip) hike with nearly 360 degree views!\nVolunteers must be able to walk moderate distances across rough terrain.\n\nWhat to Wear: Work pants\, long sleeves; dress for the weather | Close-toed shoes\nWhat to Bring: Drinking Water | Snacks / lunch | Work gloves (if you have a personal pair)\n\nTo volunteer or for more information or questions email volunteer@conservingcarolina.org.
