DESCRIPTION:Writing in Nature \nSunday\, February 9\, 2025 \n10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. ONLINE via Zoom. \nYou are welcome to join us for Writing WITH Nature\, this month\, once again\, as we gather online via Zoom. After you register\, you’ll receive the welcome letter with details. Whether this is your first time with us\, and if you consider yourself a writer or not\, you are invited to come with pen and paper\, bring a leaf\, a branch\, a stone\, or pinecone\, a shell\,–any being in nature that calls to you. As poet Mary Oliver reminds us\, we are learning to: “pay attention; be astonished; tell about it.” \nWe are discovering the surprise and delight of being able to experience this online! Mindfulness\, and being able to “bring the outdoors in” with words and sharing our stories\, enriches and nourishes us all. \nPlease note that the preserve is open to the public only by invitation for educational events.
