Pat has been a part-time resident in Hendersonville since 2008 and in 2019 became a full-time permanent resident. Since studying environmental engineering at Brown University, he has been interested in environmental protection. He spent his entire legal career as an environmental lawyer, including the first five years as a trial attorney at the U.S. Department of Justice in Washington, D.C. and almost 40 years in private practice in San Francisco. He is excited to have the opportunity to advance conservation interests in Western North Carolina as part of the Conserving Carolina board of directors.
