Diana Richards, Ph.D., has practiced as a clinical and eco psychologist. Her work has included education and guidance to deepen the human-nature connection. She serves as President of Friends of Hickory Nut Gorge whose mission is to advocate for the natural heritage and beauty, the wildlife habitat and biodiversity, and the health and integrity of Hickory Nut Gorge. She follows these principles, especially by planting natives and minimizing invasives, in the stewardship of her land which is bequeathed to Conserving Carolina. She is a lover of wildlife and wildness.
