140 Acres Added to Polk County Park

With 140 more acres, this park at Little White Oak Mountain now connects Polk County Middle School, the Green River Game Lands, and a future workplace housing development.

Agreement Reached on Saluda Grade Rail Line

We’ve reached an agreement with Norfolk Southern to sell the Saluda Grade corridor for a new 31-mile rail trail!

Forest Near Pearson’s Falls Protected

When Bob Tobey and Donna Martin were looking for land, their vision was not only to create a home for themselves, but also to protect some land that they felt was special. They recently conserved forests and creeks upstream of Pearson’s Falls.
