Bonnie holds a BS in Biology from Davidson College and Master’s degrees in Environmental Management and Forestry from the Nicholas School at Duke University. She joined the staff in 2004 after serving as Conserving Carolina’s stewardship intern and completing non-timber forest product field work with the US Forest Service. Bonnie lives in West Asheville with her husband Jake and children Nate and Evie. She enjoys biking, hiking, reading, and music. In a previous life, she was a Washington, DC paralegal.
